Because the Nordic countries have so much to be proud of in terms of equality, creativity, human rights, prosperity, education, and sustainable thinking. Let’s tackle pressing social and global issues by building on what we have, but making sure we go even further.
Norders aim to create a leading Nordic creative community, academy and agency to stimulate innovation and growth leveraging the Nordic core strengths and values. The idea of the community is to promote New Nordic cooperation, but also create an innovation ecosystem of doers to always access the best talent for the best Nordic impact. Leveraging Nordic values and design creates new synergies with greater benefits for the whole region, both locally and globally. The model is based on various chapters working in a lean startup model which encourage results that would not otherwise be possible - in a cost-effective way.
Norders give priority to activities that promote a wider understanding of the positive impacts of Nordic cooperation. Based on the 'Nordic Model' a framework has been established and Norders aim to harness the Nordic shared values; Trust, Compassion, Equality, Openness, Transparency, Thinkin, Creativity, Innovation and Sustainable Development. Based on the Nordic philosophies of Hygge, Sisu, Lagom and Lykke.
The model is one of the oldest in the world, proven to work, but has not officially been frameworked nor leveraged in the creative growth context. The results can be seen across the New Nordic continent reducing poverty, sustaining growth, closing the social gaps and creating growth stories such as Spotify, Klarna, Bolt and Angry Birds. Focusing on all the core aspects of life; society, economy, people and resources. Taking care of the people, fairly. Taking care of the Environment, sustainably. Distributing the national income as equally as possible. And all this leading to common sustainable growth, not only for a few but for all.
The Nordic best practices have been recognized globally by many and is validated to work. Learning and adapting it to our daily lives does not happen by itself and thus we have made it our mission to bring the key players together to allow us all to join this important journey towards a more connected and prosperous world. Together.
