Before Norders

Norders has been involved in the creation story of the Smart City Innovation Cluster (SCIC) from its inception.

SCIC is a Finnish cooperative of leading companies and institutions in the Smart City sector, actively seeking to address some of the most significant challenges of our time faced by cities and communities, aiming to improve citizens' lives and provide solutions to climate change.

Through tackling these local and global challenges, SCIC provides business and development opportunities for its member companies and research institutions, while building a globally leading community to address the world's biggest challenges.

From the outset, the premise has been that the challenges and markets are too significant to overcome alone, but together, the members of SCIC can create world-class solutions.

SCIC was founded by leading Finnish organizations in the Smart City sector, ranging from companies to research institutions and municipalities.

Ambitious global goals for a brand-new player in a fiercely competitive global arena require agile, high-quality, and simultaneously strategic and tactical marketing. Norders rose to this challenge.
